Quest2glory was a project long time in coming. In reality, this original project was designed back in 2015 out of necessity.
Today, the need is even greater and therefore we intend to expand our vision in helping many others over the next 10 years. Q2G is a revolution whose time has come and whereas It is no secret that while Barbadian sports personalities have done reasonably well in some team sports at the international level, it is in the individual competitions that they have suffered.
The mission of Quest2glory however is to focus on the athletes at the grassroots level because if the foundation is bad then the whole house is bad and that is what Barbados is experiencing today. Before our sportsmen and women reach elite status, they have to undergo rigourous training. They must be disciplined and this will be our mission, to help disciplined athletes in any sport, all with an intended world view in mind.
WHOLE OF LIFE APPROACH
The Quest2Glory program will embrace the whole of life approach. That approach is based on the physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs of an individual. The program teaches athletes how to be good communicators and to sell themselves to sponsors and make themselves marketable.
Membership is open to all individuals and companies desirous of assisting the Barbadian athlete reach their stated goal but in a structured manner.
MANAGEMENT
QUEST2GLORY is being presently managed by a committee headed BY CEO Ashley Simpson. however, after one year, the number of staff members is expected to increase and the structure changed.
CEO- ASHLEY SIMPSON
Ashley is a former athlete and a vocalist having been a semifinalist in the Richard Stoute Teen Talent competition. She therefore has a general understanding of the needs of athletes and persons involved in the cultural activities. She is expected to graduate shortly from the UWI, majoring in Management and is a perfect fit for this project.
